Early builds for macOS, Windows and Linux.

Agent Synth runs on all three platforms today. What's missing is code signing and notarization — that's a paperwork step, not a build step, and it's in progress. Until it lands, the honest path is GitHub Releases: the exact same build, one click away, with a short note on the one extra click your OS will ask for.

First launch on macOS. The build isn't notarized yet, so Gatekeeper will call it unidentified. Right-click (or Control-click) the app, choose "Open", then confirm in the dialog that follows. You only need to do this once.

Windows may warn you the first time — here's why
  1. Windows shows a blue panel: "Windows protected your PC"
  2. Click "More info"
  3. Click "Run anyway"

The installer isn't signed with a certificate yet, SmartScreen flags any publisher it hasn't seen before, and that's a cost and timing decision, not a security problem.

Every release includes a SHA256SUMS.txt asset. Check the file against it:

First launch on Linux. The download is the raw standalone binary — there's no installer. Make it executable once (chmod +x Agent.Synth) before running it. This build hasn't been hand-tested across distros yet; the VST3/AU plugin bundle below is the more battle-tested path if your DAW supports it.

No email gate — this download has never required one and never will. GitHub Releases is the real download today, and it stays the fallback after signed builds ship — this page will just gain a working button next to it. (There's an optional release-notes signup in the footer, if you'd rather get a nudge than check back.)

Nothing happens to your synth. Every module, patch and preset keeps working offline, forever. Only new AI patch generations pause until your allowance resets.
